BASED IN WEST OXFORDSHIRE
CHRISTOPHER GRADUATED FROM LIVERPOOL UNIVERSITY IN 1996, WITH A FIRST CLASS COMBINED HONOURS DEGREE IN FINE ART AND PSYCHOLOGY.
CHRISTOPHER'S WORK IS CONCERNED WITH CHALLENGING SCULPTURAL SPACE THROUGH THE CREATION OF ART WHICH IS WALL, CEILING OR FLOOR BASED. THROUGHOUT HIS WORK THERE IS A BASE AWARENESS AND INTEREST IN LINE, FORM AND BALANCE.

"THE LOCATION OF MY STUDIO INFLUENCES MY ART WITH IT'S AGRICULTURAL LINKS TO THE LAND AND THE LANDSCAPE, AND THE EARTH. THE SEA AND ALL THINGS WATERY ARE ALSO REFLECTED. PERHAPS BORN OUT OF VISITS TO DEVON AND CORNWALL AND A DESIRE TO LIVE BY THE SEA."
HE WORKS WITH MILD STEEL, STAINLESS STEEL, FOUND METAL OBJECTS, STONE AND WOOD.
CHRISTOPHER'S ARTWORKS ARE LIMITED EDITIONS AND HE HAS CREATED NUMEROUS COMMISSIONS. WORK FEATURES IN PRIVATE AND INSTITUTIONAL COLLECTIONS BOTH ACROSS THE UK AND INTERNATIONALLY.
